Grand Soleil 46 LC is a sailing yacht designed for Blue Water cruising. It integrates Grand Soleil's performance heritage with features engineered for extended comfort and quality. This model is a "Made in Italy" collaboration, with hull design by Marco Lostuzzi and interiors/exteriors by Nauta Design, built by Cantiere del Pardo.
Lostuzzi's hull design features deeper and larger sections. This provides significant internal volume for tanks and storage, enhancing stability and ensuring a more comfortable motion during offshore passages, while maintaining sailing performance.
The yacht offers two distinct deck versions: one with a carbon rollbar designed to maximize cockpit living space and support a bimini/sprayhood, and a sportier version without the rollbar or aft benches. All maneuvering controls are positioned at the helmsman's station, below deck, with optional dedicated seating for ease of operation. Two winches on each side near the helm wheels, with optional electric power, simplify long sailing trips. A standard self-tacking jib and optional in-mast furling mainsail further enhance short-handed maneuverability.
Below deck, Grand Soleil 46 LC offers two interior layouts: a standard three-cabin configuration or an optional two-cabin layout, both with two bathrooms featuring shower stalls. The saloon includes a three-seat sofa, where its central section converts into a chart table. The galley is designed for ample storage and comfort, supporting extended time aboard. Large windows ensure abundant natural light throughout the interior. In the owner's cabin, extensive stowage is provided with three lockers, two drawers under the bed, side lockers, bookcases, and a large wardrobe.
This yacht is designed to comfortably accommodate 6 guests, focusing on practical living and ease of movement for extended voyages.
