Description
The Centurion 42 is a legendary high-performance racing hull designed by the renowned Ed Dubois and built by Henri Wauquiez.
She is exceptionally fast—even in light winds—while her substantial 11-ton displacement ensures a highly stable and soft motion through heavy seas.
Purchased by her current owners in 2009, she underwent a comprehensive initial overhaul of her electronics, rigging, and engine.
Since then, she has been meticulously upgraded and maintained specifically for shorthanded and solo sailing.
Today, she stands out with major recent investments, including a completely overhauled Perkins engine (June 2025), a heavy-duty lithium and solar power setup (2022) providing full overnight autonomy, and a brand-new, unused Dacron mainsail (2026).
With her protected cockpit, stunning solid teak decks, and elegant two-cabin layout, she is a ready-to-go platform for extended Mediterranean cruising.
