The Cable-free Code Zero is easy to handle and store. With the improved positive luff, you gain wider sailing angles compared to a traditional Code Zero - and more power. Elvstrøm Sails designer, Lars Thiellesen explains; “This is absolutely a great sail, that is not penalized within the ORC and IRC measurement rules. For ORC and IRC, the half width shall be 75 % or more of the foot length. Our cable-free code zero is designed with a 75 % spinnaker half width (SHW) and within the Danish DH a 65 % SHW.  It is possible to sail up to 65 degrees True Wind Angle (TWA), and the sail goes significantly deeper than a conventional code zero with cable, due to the positive luff.  This is truly a sail that makes a difference on the race course, especially in the lower wind forces. Due to the EPEX luff it is easy to roll and easy to use, even when sailing single-handed. I have personally just used it in the Singlehanded Silverrudder.”

Second Dehler 30 one design launched Shortly after the world premier of the Dehler 30 one design in Cannes, hull number two has been launched in Greifswald. Now it is possible to experience the racing gens of the new racer-cruiser in the best possible way: two Dehler 30 od competing against each other! For the very first time this will be possible during press sea trials from 04 – 07 November at the German Baltic Sea in Rostock, to which we cordially invite you to participate. Since the number of participants is limited, we recommend to sign up in good time. Interested boatshow visitors can gain a first impression of the Dehler 30 od at the upcoming shows in Barcelona and Hamburg. Preparations are in full swing for our next delivery, a beautiful Hanse 588 finished in grey currently being commissioned at Hanse Shipyard in Greifswald, Germany. Following extensive testing by our staff she will be handed over to her new owners where she will set sail to the Mediterranean. We look forward to her arrival in a few weeks time. Fair Winds!
